European airlines raise fares by Q3 2028 due to jet fuel costs

By Q3 2024, at least 60% of major European airlines will implement fare increases of 10% or more to offset sustained high jet fuel prices. This follows IATA’s warning that fuel costs cannot be absorbed long-term, despite recent temporary cuts.
